Excursion to Down Farm, Cranborne Chase

11th August 2018 Tim Lunt events

BACAS visited Down Farm in August with Martin Green explaining some of the wealth of find and features he has explored over the years. This year a section of the ditch of the Dorset Cursus was excavated revealing a flat bottomed straight-sided ditch with evidence of gang work.
