Cirencester after the Romans: time for a rethink? : Prof Mark Horton FSA : 13 November 2019

Mark Horton has recently become an Emeritus Professor at Bristol University after 25 years as an academic there and more recently joined the Royal Agricultural University’s (RAU) new Cultural Heritage Institute (CHI) at Swindon as Professorial Research Fellow. He has had a distinguished and varied career in archaeology, being involved in many prestigious excavations, but is best known for being a presenter on the BBC’s ‘Coast’ and ‘Time Flyers’ programmes as well as Time Team.

All talks are at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, 16 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HN starting  at 7:30pm with an admission charge of £4 for members (on display of a current BACAS membership card), and £5 for the general public. Pay on the door.
