Summer 2018 was an exceptional year for aerial archaeology when the dry weather led Historic England and others to make a number of significant discoveries.
Simon Crutchley, Remote Sensing Development Manager at Historic England will discuss some of these finds together with the techniques related to the discovery and recording of these and other sites.
All talks are at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, 16 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HN. Thursday 12 November, 7.30pm, with an admission charge of £4 for members (on display of a current BACAS membership card), and £5 for the general public. Pay on the door.
