Tofts, Crofts and Prehistoric Enclosures
Those who attended the last walk around the Shoscombe Valley with Chris Paul five years ago will remember the extraordinary number of historic sites within such a small area. This walk explores even more with the prehistoric/medieval enclosures of Stony Littleton, a medieval (possibly earlier) mill site and the deserted medieval village of Foxcote.
Chris Paul, a member of BACAS and a founder member of the Shoscombe History Society, who lives in Stony Littleton will lead this evening excursion beginning at Brook Cottage in Stony Littleton.
