Thanks to Secretary Mr P Greening for an attractive programme of winter lectures. Mr Greening has been transferred to duties at Plymouth but returns at the weekends and has offered to continue as Secretary. Miss Underhay has offered to assist. (see also page 3).

Recent discovery of 1st century bronzes and iron work at Camerton ‘by means of the illicit use of metal detectors’. Concern at loss of evidence. Members urged to look out for, and report on, such activity.
