Attendances high despite some very poor weather. Seven excursions planned for next year. Suggestions for venues welcomed. 6th May, detailed Report here on the visit to Old Sarum Castle and Salisbury Cathedral by Mary Huntley. Freshford 23rd May. Short Report by Ken Appleby on evening outing led by Alan Dodge despite very heavy rain. Bathampton Down 13th June, including Sham Castle, Bathwick Wood and Bushey Norwood by Bob Whitaker. Lansdown 27th June, included Brockham End, Further Slate Wood and the site of the battle of Lansdown, by Ken Appleby. Westbury and the White Horse 10th July; a detailed report here by Ken Appleby on the outing led by John Oswin ‘in the teeth of a gale’. Malmesbury Town and Abbey 9th September.
